Comfortable and friendly staff. They gave me a spacious room with an excellent shower and luxurious bedding, plus a fantastic bathroom. the hotel is located by the riverside amidst beautiful natural surroundings. 🌿

the room i stayed in was well-equipped and modern and complete with super bathroom, top of the range linen, as example. the staff were nice and kept the place fairly clean. location: the hotel was so close to riverside walking paths, the river trail from the back garden and the river on the edge of town.

The hotel was placed in the riverside location on Tongariro riverside. It was not far from the river, town, and had a private garden.

Fantastic location for Lake Taupo and the National Park. Great restaurants nearby. Fabulous breakfast and comfortable room with a super bathroom. Maryke, our host, was amazing and made our stay special. The private deck overlooking the river was a bonus, as were the garden and river views. Perfect for overnight stops or longer stays.

Charming and welcoming host with great suggestions for touring the area. Quirky house with delightful vintage treasures. Outstanding river views from room and conservatory. Extremely comfortable and well-sized room. Grandiose breakfast each morning.

We were warmly welcomed by Maryke and her two friendly dogs. The room had a modern bathroom and good heating. The breakfast included a delicious fruit salad and cooked options. Maryke, being a former visitor center worker, had great local knowledge.
